“Freeing yourself was one thing, claiming ownership of that freed self was another.”
― Toni Morrison
I am a board-certified, Columbia-trained psychiatrist committed to partnering with both individuals and organizations to address the mental health challenges that present as barriers to people living their most meaningful and fulfilling lives.
I bring together my diverse clinical, academic and community-based work to address the unique needs of each individual and provide consultation to organizations. I integrate my training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), neuroscience and medicine with my experiences doing recovery-oriented and health disparities work.
